Mask Info!
The mask information sheet I include with all my orders is now posted below to help reduce paper waste, and make it easier to refer back to. Feel free to bookmark this page for future reference!

How do I use my fabric face mask?
Find the wire, this is the top of the mask, tie firmly, or adjust so the mask fits snugly against the face. Pinch the wire to fit around your nose. Pull bottom of mask so pleats expand, covering from the bridge of your nose to just under the jaw line. Face masks are most efficient when worn tightly against the face.
If you have a n95 mask or surgical mask, wear under the fabric mask to prevent damage and increase the longevity of the n95 filter.
What protection does a fabric mask offer?
A fabric mask can filter around 70% of particles in the air. It also acts as a reminder to not touch your face, and provides a barrier between you and the people around you.
What can’t a fabric mask do?
A fabric mask cannot offer the same level of filtration as an n95 mask, but it can free up n95 masks for medical personnel. It cannot completely protect you from other people’s germs, but it can act as a reminder to wash hands regularly, maintain a 6ft distance when in public spaces, and avoid touching your face to minimize the chances of germs entering a mucous membrane such as mouth, nose, or eyes.
Care Instructions:
Wash with warm water and soap by hand or on delicate cycle. Steam from an iron can also sanitize. Iron or smooth with hands to keep the wire flat and flexible. (Avoid ironing elastic) If unable to wash, keep DRY. A wet mask can cause particles to stick better to the fabric.
